… Take pictures and put it on your blog.
You guessed it. Bo and Indy really did have their way with some of my MiniDiscs. Carnage a la doggies (the thief being Bo). A couple of these discs that were destroyed had music I don’t have on CD… I guess that’s incentive to buy the CDs now, huh? Also he destroyed some somewhat rare pink and blue sparkly Sony MiniDisc blanks– of course you can only get those in Asia, and they’re certainly don’t make them exactly like that anymore. Otherwise I’m not terribly heart-broken I guess. If I’d cared enough about that MD wallet and discs they’d not have been anywhere where Bo could get them. I’m not sure where he did get them from (somewhere in the basement) but the little bastard got em. This is why he is not welcome in the basement– he won’t rest until he has a trophy.
Oh, and Steve found Bo and Indy chewing on these outside where Bo usually takes his trophies. At least it made for cool (although hasty and blurry) blog pictures, heh. So now I’m tormenting the dogs with a laser pointer, muahaha!
Funny how life has a way of balancing things out. Yesterday I had written up a negative rant about how crappy my job was with only 256MB of RAM and how far burried I am in work because of it. Well today the upgrade came and I was cruising along with a gigabyte of RAM all day (nevermind that I nuked one of my main apps and will have to reinstall Monday, hehe)– it really made my day. So destroyed MiniDiscs really didn’t get to me… like I said, at least it made for some interesting blog pics 😉
Said-rant about computer issues won’t be posted now, you’re probably glad to hear. But said burriedness in workload is why I haven’t blogged so much this week. So stressed… But, someone handed me a shovel named 1 GB today and I can feel the load lightening already, hehe.

Sweet! (On the RAM, not the minidiscs)
Is InDesign still crashing?
Dude I hear you. My kittens destroyed my new winter hat. They also chewed through the egos (the wires at least… too bad it couldn’t have been something with a current to punish them eh?)you gave me that have lasted for years and been great. I will probably have to stop at Yongsan on the way home and get some new headphones. Let me know if you want me to look for mini-discs similar to the ones you lost.
Joel is Yongsan THE place for gadgets? If so I may have to come up with something else to have you look for, heh. I’ve still got a couple of those discs that are intact, so no worries I guess. Too bad about the eggos– the current version is the D22, you had the D11. They’re probably pretty comparable…
Jerilyn– I’ll have tell you about InDesign, heh.
silly pet-owner people. our puppy chewed up the neighbors’ newspaper when i was a kid and dad got rid of him. hehe. then we had another that tore up our screened-in porch. got rid of him, too. now i think dad will get rid of his cat cause she scares my little girl.
… but just when i was about to brag about never having to worry about a pet destroying my stuff i remember that i have a 17 month old who often gets my camera, computer, synthesizer, dvds, video games, lighters, etc. and usually gets chocolate on my clothes right before work. so.. i guess what i’m saying is.. i wish i had a dog. hehe. j/k
