Meh. September left on quite a high note, but October has entered on a lower note. Some chick freakin’ just about ran me off the road. After so many close calls where honking was sufficient to get the person to jerk back into their lane, this one seemed oblivous until she was already running into my car. My poor car, it just keeps getting beat up by things beyond it’s or my control. It sucks to be her more than it does to be me, though, at least for now. It’s really weird to feel upset at someone and feel sorry for them at the same time.
Alright, time to see what I’ve gotten into. Off to the body shop for an estimate.
At least this was a breeze to blog on my new fancy schmancy G5, right?

that sucks, man. wait, did you say G5?
Yep, G5. Dual 1.8ghz processors… kinda useless for what I’m doing but if I had some 3D software or I was doing some video editing, boy those 2 processors would come in handy. Right now I get the feeling only one really works most the time.
Wait, did she actually hit you??? And if so, why didn’t she pull over?? Son of a… that really bites!
No she pulled over. She was wanting to turn onto a side street right there where she hit me, her house was like 2 houses in (I know where she lives, hah).
Know how much that headlight costs to replace?
almost $800!
That’s more than I paid for my van.
lol. the fender alone, without paint and labor, cost more than that van ๐ lame.
ah, i thought you meant a Canon G5 camera. I was wondering how many cameras you needed. Makes more sense this way, though.
Her insurance is paying for some of that $800, right?
Yeah her insurance is, or else she is.
Yeah– the Canon G5 is outdated, the G6 is out now ๐
But you can’t drive your fender baby… I started wordpress today. Quite interesting.
Yea Joel, it’s true. That van of yours gets you a whole lot more bang for the buck…
You designers are funny about your computers. I was in a catalog meeting on Tuesday when Mike-the-Mac-guy rolled Joellyn’s new computer by. Every designer stopped (one of them mid-sentence!) and watched. And Brent even said something about “sexy.” I didn’t know a G5 was “sexy.” But they all seemed to think so. The rest of us kind of just looked around like, “what the…” Heehee.
OH yeah. I had to clean up the drool off of my G5 after Mike wheeled it in, since mine was the first one to show up on the 5th floor (Jen has one downstairs). Mar, this is the 21st century and people now think of some types of electronics as being sexy or having sex appeal. I know it’s strange, but you’re the writer– you need to know the different applications of the word “sexy”. This is just one, hehe.
