I’m sure there will be a plethora of Addie b-day photos coming on various sloanie blogs and facebook profiles, but here’s a couple that I captured yesterday as we celebrated Addie’s first birthday on Memorial Day. Hard to believe she’s been around for a year now…
This might be my favorite image from the night, even if the lighting wasn’t great. They plopped her down in front of a cake that was made just for her to demolish. She wasn’t terribly interested in eating it, but it’s almost like she instinctively knew to rub frosting on any part of her that wasn’t already frosted, hehe:

She just looks at the camera like… what IS that thing you’re pointing at me. (I wasn’t even trying to get her to look at me for the cake picture).
