I wanted to make a list of DVDs coming out soon to watch for. I’ll probably buy *most* of them.
November 30:
Hero
Spider-Man 2
December 7:
Bourne Supremacy
Dodgeball
December 14:
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King – Special Extended Edition (Let’s face it, I’m more excited about this than all the rest of these DVDs combined).
I, Robot (rental)
December 21:
Napoleon Dynamite
King Arthur (worth a rental at least)
December 28:
Anchorman
and it looks like I can expect “The Village” on January 11th next year. The fun just keeps going, yay! Have I missed anything?

Dude I watched anchorman twice on the plane. That movie kills me. I watched dodgeball, which was also funny but nothing could compare to anchorman for me the rest of the flight.
Can you bring me my chapstick?
You just answered the biggest question of 2004 for me.
That’s what I figured Joel– I guess dodgeball is worth a watch and Anchorman is worth picking up ๐
Jer– if you vote for me all your wildest dreams will come true.
no mention of the seinfeld? maybe it’s an east coast thing.
Are you kidding me?!? Dodgeball was freakin’ hilarious!! It seriously had me cracking up the entire time!! I saw it the week before I saw Anchorman and I’ve got to say I easily liked Dodgeball better. Let’s face it, they were both off the wall, crazy flicks, but Ben Stiller…come on, you just cant beat that…not even with Will Ferell, although he’s definitely up there. I’d say the two are at least sixes.
Just found this web site and am feeling a bit confuzzled, although I like it. Lovely pictures, what with the moon and all. But am tempted to begin work on a documentary, “Who Is Sloanie?” Perhaps then I would know… Nice work, Sloanie old chap, but a bit lacking in detail, if you know what I mean, love.
You think Anchorman the movie is funny? You have to hear the soundtrack! Will Farell narrates the whole thing. It’s so hilarious.
Remember when they bust out into that song “afternoon delight”? That’s totally on there. Oh man, it’s funny.
King Arthur was awesome, it was a whole new twist to the normal story and it was amazing, it is so much more than worht the rental it is worth buying.
We shall see Richter. I didn’t hear anything great about the movie, which means I’ll probably enjoy it but I dunno about buying. I do enjoy the soundtrack, though– that was worth buying ๐
