Somehow I feel like this is a fitting photo to summarize this trip.
I had to post at least one image tonight. I edited the photos from this trip and I knew there was gonna be some magic with how the sky was Saturday afternoon.
Marianne, Jesse, Addie, Westen, Steve and myself made the trip down to southern Utah last weekend. It rained on us all Friday night, but Saturday morning around 9am it finally let up and didn’t rain on us again, even though it was varying degrees of cloudy the rest of the weekend. (The sun felt so good when it finally came out Saturday afternoon).
As you can probably see… the sun breaking through the clouds made for some wonderful skyscapes. Jesse remarked that the weather in general made Zion feel like a different place– it wasn’t dry, windy or dusty. I think I enjoyed the scenery more than ever this time around.
Many more photos to come– just need to figure out how to display them.
