I was contemplating starting some sort of cleanse today…

… that is, until I got to work. Then I KNEW there wasn’t going to be one just yet, hahaha.

This is what greeted me when I arrived at my desk at work this morning! Yes, this is none other than a cake made by the infamous Kathy. Remember the last time I tantalized you with cake images? Yeah, that was Kathy too. Different time, different cake, same Kathy.

She always bakes things for people at work for their birthday– often it’s cookies, sometimes it’s cake. I do believe she loves cooking and baking. Anyhow, she asked me last year what I wanted and I replied that her German Chocolate Cake was my favorite, so she said she’d make one for me.

Well, I guess she kept forgetting– not that I minded, it’s totally kind of her to make anything at all, and more than I deserve. But well, she was planning on making dinner for another co-worker along with a German chocolate cake, and she remembered she’d never made mine, so I guess she made two. Kathy is pretty much awesome.

It’s one of mom’s favorite kinds of cake, and she had a piece… she gives it an A+ 😀 I concur… this is as good as it gets. Thanks Kathy!
