Growing up in front of a camera

I took these at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building downtown before and during Land & Kim’s wedding luncheon. Look at this first shot— Addie totally posed for it. It makes me wonder how it affects kids today to be in front of the camera so much. I mean from day one she’s had adoring parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles just snapping away trying to capture all the adorableness that they can, the number of photos taken exponentially magnified by the ubiquity of digital cameras. No one needs to worry about buying or wasting film, they can just take pictures to their hearts content. (Not to mention that more people no doubt have cameras today due to the ease of digital).

And here, on August 20, 2009, at almost 15 months old, she knows exactly what to do when she sees a big ol’ camera, haha.

Mar & Jesse: I have higher resolution copies of these images if by chance you want to print them (they’re proportioned @ 8 x 10).
