I recently put a new machine together primarily to better facilitate photo processing. I have an external hard drive that I store all my photos on, and well… using a laptop for my main computer for the last 3 years, it’s not usually convenient to hook an external drive up to it, so photos get dumped on the drive and forgotten. I have so many photos that have never seen the light of day.
Well I copied my photos over to this new machine, and I’m excited. The other day I went through all the photos I took in Hawaii in 2006 and selected a bunch to process and refine– and these were all photos taken with what was probably my least favorite digital camera I ever owned, and somehow Hawaii just wouldn’t let the camera take bad pictures there ๐
Needless to say, going through photos I never really did anything with can be like discovering some buried treasure. So here’s a taste of what I found in just one of those folders. I’m still deciding how to organize the rest… When I originally returned from this trip to Hawaii, I said I’d post the pictures I took…haha. Obviously I didn’t. Well, it’s never too late to post these kinds of photos. I loved both trips to Hawaii so much… and after reading my post from 2006, I think I need to make it a goal to get back there. Those were uniquely rejuvenating vacations.
Anyhow… no promises when the rest will be posted, but hey– at least they’ve been edited ๐ Next couple weeks are going to be a bit busy with playing in Santa Cruz this weekend and then working at convention next week. Doesn’t it seem like there are never enough hours in the day / days in the week / etc. to get everything done you want?

I want to see the pictures!!!! (I seriously don’t have hardly any from that trip – so I can’t wait to see yours.) Although they might depress me. Seriously, I need a Hawaii vacation.
Yeah, I need to add a few pictures, but basically I have 74 images all ready to go. Watched them in a slide show last night… sometimes you forget just how awesome it was.
