I’m in the middle of finishing some final projects, but this one made me laugh so I thought I’d share. First off, I love this place– Teriyaki Grill. I wish the one in Draper were still in business because it’d be within reasonable driving distance from work. It is the best fast food I’ve ever found– because a) it’s delicious and b) it’s HEALTHY. Seriously. Brown rice, grilled chicken / steak, steamed veggies, and a tasty teriyaki sauce that you can use sparingly and still get plenty of flavor. And usually your food is ready by the time you finish paying. There need to be more places with quick, healthy, affordable food like this.
Ok, so I go there today and order the combination– half steak, half chicken– with brown rice. As I’m waiting for my debit card to be processed, the lady behind me speaks to me:
Lady: Is the combination half chicken and half steak?
Me: Yep. It’s the best of both worlds.
Lady: Thanks.
I thought it was odd that she’d have to ask me what something was that’s right there on the menu, so I stepped back and looked up at the menu to see. I laughed out loud– on the menu, the entrée has the following title and description:
Combination
The Best of Both Worlds
Haha. Exactly the words I’d used without realizing it was right there on the menu. Props to whoever wrote up that menu, described my sentiments exactly 😉
