About a month ago, I was invited to hit the Cheesecake Factory with the girls. Basically Marianne was only allowed to go if I went so that Jesse could go and have a guy to hang with (last time Mar went to Cheesecake Factory without him she was in the dog house, haha.)
This was just moments before Addie decided to dump that cup of ice on my lap, haha. Can’t take your eyes off her…
You know, Addie hasn’t show much interest in her Uncle Mike for the most part, other than to stare at him like he’s some kind of freak (let’s be honest… she’s justified in that, heh). But yesterday, I found the key to Addie’s heart… hahaha. I was hanging out at Mar and Jesse’s to watch LOST with them later, and when Mar arrived home from Target, she sat Addie down next to me. I was on the couch surfing the web on my MacBook Pro, and for a few minutes she just sat there and looked at me and the shiny, illuminated Apple-made object in front of me.
Suddenly I’m able to get her to smile and grin at me rather than just stare. Go figure…hehehe.

Nice shots! I never can get a good shot of food in a restaurant, but yours look great! And the connection between computers and children… I discovered this years ago while babysitting my nephew for the first time. He was completely mesmerized! 🙂
as isabella told me once: Mike is as tall as the whole universe!
