I met Mel at Best Buy because she’s looking at laptops and wanted my input. After we finished looking at them she left and I wandered over to the music section to find a cd that was released today, Utada: Exodus. Utada Hikaru is a Japanese “pop” artist who just released her first all-English / American album. I guess you could say it’s her “American debut”, that would be easier. I have her 3 Japanese albums and like a lot of her music (remember the asian chick I had on my web site’s background a little over a year ago? Yeah that’s her). So I bought her new CD today. Haven’t made up my mind about it, but that’s not the main point of my post.
As I walked out of Best Buy I spotted that there was a Noodles & Co. restaurant right there in the parking lot. I’ve been meaning to try that place, it’s relatively new to this neck of the woods. I ordered the Japanese pan noodles and found myself amused that I had just bought a Japanese artists CD and was now going to eat a “Japanese” dish. And lest my food be considered vegetarian I had them throw some grilled steak on there too, heh. Pretty tasty– I love udon noodles.

Noodles is pretty good, isn’t it? There’s a new on in Ft. Union, did you know? It’s on the corner of 13th East and Ft. Union Blvd. where Schlotzky’s used to be!

Oh, I remember her. And if memory serves me correctly then she needs to be taking a couple of trips to the noodle place herself. Hello, sticks and bones.
Also, I just ate but that picture makes me hungry which is the exact opposite of what most of your photos of food you post on this site cause me to feel.

Ehehe… Llew I’m not sure what the deal is with Utada this time around. In the pictures of her on the cover and in the booklet she’s wearing a jacket so only part of her neck is even showing. So either she’s even skinnier to the point of being frightening or she looks “normal” and is trying to hide it, heh.
And whatever I do, I’ll be sure to continue to post pictures of gross things such as those with squid in them for your viewing pleasure Miss Laura.
