Well it’s been almost a week and I’m bored at work so I thought I’d post- be warned that it’ll be a bunch of rambling gibberish– not worth your time to read. Is there a point to this post? Not really. I need to get back into taking pictures of everything inane to post.
My kingdom for a PC at work or even just a better Mac with OS X and a faster processor. G5’s are lookin’ nice…
So broadband is finally coming to Sloanieville… not DSL, not Cable– but high speed wireless. I’m crossing my fingers that said gain in bandwidth will inspire me to be more creative with my web site and do more multimedia. Afterall, I have the webserver space and I’m just not using much of it. Should have it installed tomorrow, woo! It should be feasable now to listen to Internet radio and download movie trailers and such at home, not to mention that Strong Bad will no longer take forever to load. Oh, the possibilities. Joy 🙂
EDIT: Grrr… the broadband co. just called to say they wanted to reschedule because they’ve been having safety issues with all the snow that’s been falling. Must be patient…

i didn’t load anything unusual, mike. however, you know my updating process is a little unorthodox and confusing… i couldn’t select ‘source’ from the ‘view’ menu in IE last night to update the blog. i had someone on another compuer do it and email me the source code. i have no idea what’s going on with it. i was going to ask you…
I thought maybe it was Geocities but heeble’s site on Geocities works fine, so maybe it’s something funky with the source code. That’s really strange that you couldn’t select to view the source of your blog… any idea why? Perhaps you could save your blog file to your hard drive from blogspot and open it in notepad to see what the source code looks like (long way around…)
yeah. i did that, but the code was weird and made a funky webpage. is that technical enough for you? html is like magic to me. i’m alway amazed when it works.
so, it took me forever to figure out what the heck FOTR:EE meant. I thought it was some kind of secret code about a tree or something. bwa ha ha ha. Secret combinations are so great. Anyhoo. Word to the Strongbad on high-speed internat, yo. The new one this week is sooooo random. Thnikkaman. What will those silly bros. Chaps think of next?
