What do you put as the title of a post that you know will be totally inane anyways? Guess that shows how out of it I feel, hehe. It’s been almost a week since I last posted (thanks for the reminder, Josh), so I thought I’d throw out an inane, useless post for the sake of posting, hehe. (if you wondered what I did over the weekend, not much– non-eventful as usual. For the most part it was sacrificed to the God fo Video Games, whom I’ve recently begun worshiping again thanks to Counter Strike).

So sometimes I run and get fast food for lunch during work. I have to clock out for lunch and don’t like to stay later than usual so this usually puts me in a hurry (yes I wouldn’t have this problem if I weren’t so lazy and just made a lunch to bring with me to work). Last time I went to Taco Bell, I went inside, thinking “there’s only one or two people in line, as opposed to the big lineup in the drive through”. So I went inside. But of course, some hoser in front of me is ordering lunch for their entire office or whatever and their order takes longer to fulfill than it would have taken me get through the drive through.
So again I have been lazy and I’m hitting taco bell for lunch today, I cleverly decide that even though the drive through looks decievingly long, it’ll no doubt be faster. Nope. Of course someone in front of me has a huge order. Figures.
I can’t win.

Counter-Strike!!!! I can’t believe it. I never got into counterstrike because their are so many games out there that are far superior. Rouge spear and Ghost Recon for example. But you should really try America’s Army. A free game developed by the army that kicks trash!! That’s what I spend my gaming time with.
Jake– well when one of my friends and I both got laptops a couple months back we started playing some old school games and working our way forward, playing doom2, quake… on a whim we decided to try counterstrike and the terrorist / anti-terrorist thing is fairly addictive (hence the numerous hours i’ve logged on that game in the last month or so). Where can one get this “America’s Army” game that you speak so highly of?
As far as Rogue Spear and those games go, they’re a bit too much on the stealth side for me– counterstrike has a nice mix of arcade and stealth style gaming for me.
LOL no stealth eh. I see, I see. Go to americasarmy.com and then to downloads to get the game. Current version is 1.9. WARNING, it is free but fairly huge 600+ megs so you’ll have to let it sit for a while. Excellent game though and puts the bunny hopping CS folks to shame.
Half you heard anything of Half Life 2? The physics in that game look so impressive– I’m stoked for it. I see you are a tactical shooter enthusiast. You would kill me in pretty much any shooter, I would guess, heh. I still remember when you first got into PC games, hehehe….
