Aren’t you a little old for that?

I was asked this question yesterday while getting my hair cut. They asked how I would like it cut, to which I replied that I wanted a “one” up the side and back and then a half inch off the top. “Aren’t you a little old to be getting a one on the side?” Um… shut your mouth and cut my hair woman, hehe. Oh well, guess I can’t expect much from a low budget hair cut place.

I really don’t enjoy talking to hair stylists/barbers either. Depending on where I get my hair cut, I may just tell random lies to answer their inane questions. They always ask where I work and this time they actually knew what Stampin’ Up! was. Regardless, I think I may start fabricating my job as well. I usually fabricate school though. “Where do you go to school?” Depending on where I’m getting my hair cut– ie Sandy, Midvale, Provo– it might be different, hehe. I try to avoid having to do any unnecessary explanation so if I’m in Midvale I say that I attend the U of U. That seems normal enough, doesn’t it, for someone in Midvale to be attending the U? In Provo I throw out BYU, since that’s typical there and not very interesting to them. All this in the name of keeping conversation to a minimum, hehe…

On the note of school, people are headed back to school today– notably those attending the U of U. Hehe, I almost forgot that I was “supposed” to be going to school today when I was talking to that hair stylist. Anyways, Kato is going to her very first day of college at the U of U today, yay! Big time college student now, heh. She’s awmost aww gwown up now. I guess everyone else goes back to school next week (or the week after at BYU). Me, I’m not going back to school this fall because I’m retarded and because I’m between schools. Oh well– maybe I can be productive with me free time anyways… shah, right!

I did, however, finally update the look of Marianne’s site so that it doesn’t look like the piece of sheezy that it was. Definitely not as hard on the eyes any more. Now I just need to update mine and get everything functioning again (I miss the old 2002 archives). Anyways, that’s it for now…

  1. You did too good a job. I think Mar’s banner looks better than yours… hahaha

  2. It’s true. My design is fairly slovenly and took all of 5 seconds whereas Mar’s I actually spent a little time on. Meh… maybe one day I’ll get around to doing mine.

  3. *tousles what little hair you have left*

I would be asking “Don’t you think you’re too young for that?” only because I think once boys in Utah hit a certain age they’d be showing off to the rest of the pitiful male population if they still had it. Just a thought.

  4. I like mar’s blog layout. Nice work, yo.
